Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada is the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in a number of TV shows. Family members fled from Afghanistan, and sought for asylum in US. She was born in the US. She is the middle sister of two sisters and was raised to a young age in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada started her career in television by appearing in numerous National Commercials. Ghanizada was nominated for most outstanding actress in the festival film in 2004's Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. The actress played the role of Chiara. Television guest-starring roles includes How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Her most recent roles include the role of a supporting character for the character of Blood Shot, (2009) inspired by the science fiction film Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada started her acting career in 2008 when she was a part of the team for the General Hospital spin-off General Hospital. In season 2 Night Shift, she appeared as Dr. Saira Bhatra who is an holistic physician. Ghanizada played Kelly who was an actress on Prada Sales Girl in HBO Entourage in 2009, and was cast as a character in the pilot television Tough Trade by Weeds creator Jenji Kohn, and the executive producer T Bone Burnett.
